Interested in Apple are we?

My first experience with computers was in high school. I took an Introduction to Computers class that used Apple IIe's and Macintosh SE's. When I came to Davis it became apparent that I would need a computer. So what do you think I got. That's right, a Macintosh SE. Ever since then I have been in love with Apple products.

Currently at my job with the Department of Water Resources I am the "Mac expert" (thats what they call me). Basically I am responsible for making sure that every Mac on the network works properly, in addition to my other Sys Admin duties. What this means for me is that I get to troubleshoot Mac problems, learning new tricks as I go along. DWR subscribes to Macworld so I get to read up on the latest tips and info. If I ever get stumped, I call up tech support and learn from them. They even gave me my own PowerPC 7200 (its not actually mine, but the state lets me use it). Right now I am trying to save up enough money to buy a Powerbook 1400c (still a long way to go on this one).

I could list all the reasons why I like Macintosh computers so much, but Apple does it for me. Check out their reasons why to go the Macintosh way. If you are interested in Apple too, check out their history page.

A lot of people say a lot of mean things about Apple and Macintosh computers. Check out this web site to learn the true facts about Apple.
