When I was at UC Davis my little brother in my fraternity shared with me a document that I have always rememberd since. It outlined all the failures that Abraham Lincoln encountered in his life. While Lincoln had a good number of successes, the message that I took away is that no matter how bad you may fail you need to not lose hope and keep on trying.

"My great concern is not whether you have failed, but whether you are content with your failure." - Abraham Lincoln
